Bye Bye to Luis

I just turned the TV on to watch the Twins pregame show and I’m very distressed to hear that Luis Castillo was traded to the Mets. I’m sure that Terry Ryan knows what he is doing but I loved this whole group of guys and I hate to see that one of the Piranhas get traded away. I always get sad when one of the Twins leave. I was just beside myself when A.J. was traded to the Giants (yeah, I know he’s a jerk but I liked him) and don’t even get me started when Brad announced his retirement late last year. I dread the day Torii gets traded from the Twins.
I wish Luis the very best with the Mets. I hope he is able to get a lot of infield hits in the National League. He was awesome for the Twins.

Me too. When I turned on the game and they were telling the line-up and said Luis had been on board until the trade I felt sad. I just don’t understand this trading stuff even if it does make me sound stupid. Maybe will be more in the Mpls paper, have not opened it yet today.
Geez, I will miss is scowling and chopping. He was one of my favorites and a Piranha too.
Sigh.

May all your grounders turn into hits, unless you are playing the twins. You where allways fun to watch. I will always remember seeing you streeking down the line, to beet out a throw, for a infield hit, and then limping back to the bag looking like you are 80 only to steel 2nd.
